About Me
Hello, my name is Felicia N. Brown-McGowan, and I am a
beautiful twenty-eight year old Nubian queen. I am the oldest daughter of
William and Dortha Bolton of Jackson, MS. I have two younger sisters, Tawanda
and Sherika. I am a member of Wayside Church of Deliverance in Clinton, MS. I
hold the positions of senior usher, and alto section leader in the choir. I
attended Provine Senior High School and my extra-curricular activities
consisted of The Sounds of Provine High school choir, F.B.L.A., Novel Lovers
Club. I attended Hinds Community College, Jackson State University and now
Alcorn State University. I worked for Trustmark National Bank for five great
years and then quit to move to Lorman, MS. In 1997 I met a wonderful man by the
name of Willie McGowan, Jr, and he changed my life totally. We dated for a year
and a half and we later got married. I now have a precious little girl named
Courtney, and two handsome stepsons. I am now in my senior year at Alcorn, and
enjoying every minute of it. I hope to one day earn my Doctorate degree and
become a vital part of the Mississippi State Department of
Education.
